Valve exports are subject to a number of standards and certifications.
The following are some common standards and certification requirements.
1. ISO 9001 quality management system certification
This is an internationally recognized quality management system certification to ensure that the quality management and control of the valve production process to meet international standards.
2. CE certification
The marking of CE indicates that the product complies with the relevant directives of the European legal requirements, and in line with the safety, health, environmental protection and other aspects of the basic requirements.
3. API Standard
The American Petroleum Institute (API) standard applies to valves in the oil and gas industry. Common API standards include API600 (steel valves), API6D (pipeline valves) and API609 (butterfly valves).
4. ANSI Standards
American National Standards Institute (ANSL) standard words used to dry industrial valves and fittings, often shellfish ANSI standards, including ANSI B16.34 (valve design and manufacture) ANSI B16.5 (pipe flanges and flange fittings) and ANSI B16.25 (welded end connections) and so on.
5. BS Standards
British Standards Institution (BSI) standards for valves and piping systems. Common BS standards include BS 1873 (for steel valves), BS 5152 (for cast iron valves) and BS 4504 (flanged connections), etc.
6. DIN standards
German Institute for Standardisation (DIN) standards apply to valves and piping systems. Common DIN standards include DIN 3352 (for cast iron valves), DIN 3202 (flange connections) and DIN 86251 (for butterfly valves).
In addition to the above standards and certifications, exporting valves may also require compliance with the standards and regulatory requirements of a particular country or region. Therefore, before exporting valves, manufacturers must ensure that their products meet the relevant standards and certification requirements to ensure product quality and compliance.
